Group Lessons

Held at Robert M. Sides Family Music Center | State College, PA.

Are you interested in learning the art of drumming in a fun and supportive group setting?

Why Group Lessons?

Since the dawn of civilization humans have been using rhythm to create powerful experiences of community, wholeness and belonging. One way we do this is through group drumming. There is something amazing about getting people together and feeling the power rhythm can give us. The primal element of drumming brings up something special in humans that we can all tap into.

Group lessons are a great way to introduce yourself to drums because everyone can help each other. When playing with a group you have the ability to imitate the teacher, or your neighbor, and if you get lost you can just stop and listen until you find your place.
