Connect, Collaborate, and Create!

Our program is designed to provide a fun and engaging way for people under 18 to play music together. All participants can enjoy and benefit from the process of group music making in as little as one hour.

We use a variety of music and drumming games as the foundation to build connections, encourage collaboration and inspire creativity among everyone involved. Participants will learn the essential elements of rhythm, dynamics, tempo, orchestration and listening skills. This will start them on their way to creating their own music in only a few short minutes.

Check out the video below for an example of the “Play Your Birthday” game from a drum circle with 65 middle school students. This game helps to build social connections between individuals all around the circle, it also helps with learning how to listen and develop patience.

What People Are Saying

  • "...You taught what rhythm is, had students creating rhythm and taking it to the next level when they created a rhythm with one another in a positive immersive environment that you created by your own positivity and by the way you respectfully communicated with your class... You model what we expect from our students and they mimic your actions."
